Presidential Families Weekend in Key West
It’s the largest gathering of presidential descendants on Presidents’ Day in the country. The Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation, in partnership with The Society of Presidential Descendants, presents a series of special events Presidents’ Day Weekend at the Harry S. Truman Little White House.
On Saturday, a panel of presidential descendants discusses American Bipartisanship, and on Sun. and Mon., Clifton Truman Daniel, the grandson of Harry S.Truman, performs the acclaimed stage production, Give ‘Em Hell, Harry!
The final Sunday event is the Presidents’ Day Picnic. Foundation members and the community are invited to enjoy the spacious Little White House grounds with a lunchtime Presidents’ Day Cookout. In traditional picnic style, hamburgers, veggie burgers and hotdogs will be available for purchase. A cash bar will also be available.
