Malevitus – BloodLetter (for Carlo)
New Orleans preeminent art rock band, Malevitus, will perform a special sunset concert celebrating the release of their latest single and video, “BloodLetter,” in tribute to their late drummer, Carlo Nuccio. The song BloodLetter explores love lost and the inevitable loss of loved ones by describing our characters resistance and acceptance of their fate.
The video was made in collaboration with fine artists Louviere + Vanessa and visualizes the cyclical nature of memory, witchcraft and dreams. According to the band, “The video tells a tale of a mans past regrets/mistakes that ultimately manifest themselves into a malevolent parallel universe. Or do they?”
Malevitus offers the audience a glorious view of the city at dusk atop the historic Falstaff building, along with the first look at the new work at nightfall.
