Lamardi Gras 2024
Lamardi Gras is a celebration with a local South Texas, Coastal Bend flare!
This 2-day (la)Mardi Gras features live auction, food, cold beer, vendor fair, royalty cornonation, casino, and Mardi Gras parade. The parade rolls from grounds of the “Old” Fire Department, then proceeding to the new Fire Department, culminating in the festival, all to benefit, you guessed it, the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department.
This year’s live music includes Mid-Life Crisis, Texas 3-Step, Riptide, CaVaBien Cajun Band, Boudreaux & Pousson, Steelwater Band, and a whole lotta fun.
