Lake Charles Mardi Gras Royal Gala

Lake Charles is the only place in the state (…maybe in the U.S.? …the world?) where the public is invited to see all the ornate costumes of all the royal courts from all local krewes promenade all in one place. It happened back in January at the Twelfth Night carnival kick-off, and it happens again at the Royal Gala Lundi Gras, one royal night before Mardi Gras Day.
