Hummingbird Migration & Nature Festival

The annual Hummingbird Migration & Nature Festival in Pascagoula, Mississippi celebrates the fall migration of these tiny flyers as they travel to wintering grounds south of the Gulf of Mexico. Throughout the event, guests are immersed into all aspects of migration and the science behind banding and monitoring migration patterns.
Exhibits will be on site to offer information regarding conservation awareness and environmental stewardship. Storyteller Brian Fox Ellis will spin his tales as John James Audubon and raptors from the Freedom Ranch will be on display for all to see. Local vendors will have locally made crafts, pottery, jellies, clothing, and other items as well.
The Hummingbird Happy Hour Social, featuring storytelling and bird banding happens Thursday. The big fest happens Friday and Saturday. Come on out and have fun in Pascagoula’s natural bayou habitat!
