Greater Baton Rouge State Fair

It’s 11 days of family fun! The all-volunteer-run Baton Rouge State Fair keeps over 50 years of tradition alive with the reliable plate of over 40 carnival midway rides, all for a good cause (student scholarships and nonprofit grants), a beer garden, concessions, and of course, ag-shows, Plus, there’s live music, petting zoo, and exotic animals. The GBRSF also presents lawn-tractor pulls, drone race contests, pig races, and even an acrobatic performance inside a giant steel rotating wheel. And it goes without saying, there will be vendors selling the best of Louisiana fair treats like corny dogs, hot cracklins, and funnel cake, so bring your appetite.
