FAMU Harambee Festival

Florida A&M University’s Harambee Festival returns to Cascades Park! The annual celebration includes a lineup that features Tallahassee-bred musician and producer Darryl Tookes & Friends, the RAA Steel Band, A Few Good Fellas, Tallahassee Nights Live, among other surprise acts. Shows will occur at the heartbeat of Cascades Park, the Adderley Amphitheater, named for jazz giants and FAMU graduates, Julian “Cannonball” and Nathaniel “Nat” Adderley.
Black artists, singers, dancers, and storytellers will showcase their craft. Sights and sounds of Black History Month shall resonate throughout Tallahassee’s crown-jewel park, celebrating African culture, music, and art. Vendors from across the region will offer traditional African clothing and modern goods, jewelry, natural skincare products, custom artwork, and more.
The festival creates atmosphere that feels like a city-wide Family Reunion. Come meet FAMU, and enjoy the entertainment, food, and merch market. Inspire Unity in the Community at the Harambee Festival!
