Easter Sunrise Service at Bok Tower Gardens
Happy Easter! Greet the day at this, the longest continuously running event at Bok Tower Gardens – an annual tradition since April 17, 1927. Easter morning worshipers are offered complimentary admission to experience the sunrise service.
The celebration begins at 6:30am with seasonal compositions performed on the 60-bell Singing Tower carillon. Rev. Esther Robinson of First United Methodist Church of Lake Wales will provide the message. Glory in special music from Dr. Jonathan Reed, soloist Xela Pinkerton, Bagpiper Ben Pugh, and the First United Methodist Church of Lake Wales Choir. Donations are encouraged.
The Gardens’ Blue Palmetto Cafe will offer Easter Unlimited Breakfast Buffet until 10am.
The son of Gardens’ founder, Curtis Bok, said the service “quite literally helps the sun get over the horizon on Easter morning.” Let the 60-bell Singing Tower carillon ring!
