DJ Soul Sister’s 20th NYE Soul Train

For two full decades, DJ Soul Sister has been throwing down The Sound, every December 31 via her NYE Soul Train to greet the New Year. If you don’t already know her, heed: She’s been the “queen of rare groove” for most her life, digging crates and collecting vinyl since she was six years old. Most know her from her legendary show on WWOZ-FM New Orleans, “Soul Power,” the longest-running rare groove radio show in the U.S. And her live shows are a treat.

To greet 2023: DJ Soul Sister’s special guests include original Soul Train Dancer alumni Marco De Santiago and Freddie Mae Maxie, Vintage Soul Train Projections, Soul Sister’s Booty Patrol Dancers, and Photo Booth Pics.
