César Chávez Breakfast, Marcha & Festival

Enjoy a day of community to honor civil rights hero Cesar Chavez at this annual march and festival in Corpus Christi, Texas. The morning begins with a reception and breakfast featuring contemporary hero and speaker Sister Norma Pimentel of the Missionaries of Jesus and the executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley. The morning will be emceed by KIII-TV anchor (who met and covered Cesar Chavez back in the day) Rudy Treviño.

Then the community will gather for a march launching from the corner of Port & Agnes, with Sister Pimentel as its Grand Marshal. It all culminates at the festival at the Garcia Arts Center.
