Don’t miss Gulfport’s 4th annual Celebrate Juneteenth! sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Gulfport, City of Gulfport and in collaboration with the Woodson African American Museum of Florida.
The Kiwanis Club of Gulfport will offer the welcome statement at 10am. Next up is the Interactive Story & Activity for Kids: Opal Lee & What It Means to Be Free (limited to the first 30 children).
Then at 11:45am, Patrick Jackson, Manager of Education & Outreach of the Woodson African American Museum, presents The History & Legacy of Juneteenth.
Afterwards, enjoy some red velvet cake and celebration!
