Beaumont Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth in Beaumont took place at Tyrrell Park for many years –always a highlight of the summer. This year’s event promises captivating performances by R&B legends Shirley Murdock and Lenny Williams. Plus, enjoy live music from regional musicians such as Nebu Nezey & the Treblemakers, Far Cry, the Golden Triangle All Star Band, and hosted by DJ Erik Tee of Magic 102.5, the SETX Line Steppers, and more.
Food trucks will be on-site, serving up delicious cuisine to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. A new attraction will be the 12 and under Free Throw Competition with prizes for the winners. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy the festivities outside the Julie Rogers Theatre and the library.
