Art & Backstage Tour at the Van Wezel
A selection of Arts Advocates’ unparalleled collection of artworks by Sarasota Art Colony artists and other noted Florida artists are on exhibit at the Van Wezel. Tour guides walk through the gallery while describing the beauty and history of the paintings and sculptures.
The guided tour also includes backstage. View the ropes, pulleys, and flys for creating scenery and special effects, the movable orchestra pit, dressing rooms, hydraulic lifts, rehearsal rooms, and the Green Room where performers relax between shows.
Art and Backstage Tours are conducted by Arts Advocates and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall staff.
