Nestled on the eastern shore of Tampa Bay in central Florida is the nation’s oldest Cuban-American community.

After more than 50 years of animosity, interference, and estrangement, Cuba and the United States reestablished diplomatic ties. This means easier travel to Cuba.

But for those who want a domestic taste of the island, Ybor City has the cigars, food, and architecture on what is literally designated as Cuban soil.
