Gulf Shores International Takes Flight
GULF SHORES, ALA – The Gulf Shores Airport Authority announced that the Jack Edwards National Airport is now officially named Gulf Shores International Airport. The announcement included the ribbon cutting of a new state-of-the-art air traffic control tower, and the unveiling of a new logo and brand campaign, “Fly to Alabama’s Beaches.”
The airport’s new air traffic control tower facility includes state- of- the- art communications systems and the latest weather reporting equipment put in place to foster positive economic impact for Baldwin County and the greater region of Coastal Alabama, including Foley, Orange Beach, and the Fort Morgan Peninsula.
