Youth “Mississippi Saxophone” aka Harmonica Workshop

Pass Christian Library is excited to offer the Youth Mississippi Blues Harmonica Workshop taught by musician “Bayou” Shannon Williford.

The harmonica is also known as the “Mississippi Saxophone.” The workshop meets three afternoons, June 3, June 5, and June 7, 2024, starting at 2pm. The sessions are for 5th-8th graders. The students will learn about the Delta Blues and how to play the harmonica. The workshop will conclude with a student concert. Each student is given a harmonica and a songbook.

This workshop is free, but space is limited!
