Tee-Mamou Iota Mardi Gras Folklife Festival
It’s a well-preserved tradition practiced by a small group of Cajuns determined to honor their heritage each year by joining together to enjoy a masked merry-making celebration before the Lenten season begins. The Tee-Mamou Iota Mardi Gras Folklife Festival happens all day on Mardi Gras Day with food, music, dance, and even a Les Tous Petit (kids) Mardi Gras… and of course, a parade!
