Tab Benoit is on a mission to use his music to bring attention to Louisiana’s coastal erosion issues. He began to spend more time in the wetlands, and there he began to write his songs. Wetlands was his first Telac/Concord International release. The record combined many musical styles native to Louisiana, including accordion lines and washboard on guitar. Wetlands was a mile marker establishing Tab’s further musical progression into his own original sound and style.
