Sea of Stars at the Mississippi Aquarium
There are two components to Mississippi Aquarium’s annual, one-of-a-kind Sea of Stars celebration:
• VIP Fundraiser: an adult-only, private event held at Mississippi Aquarium, where fundraising guests enjoy upscale cocktails, coastal cuisine, animal encounters, and a premier viewing location for the show.
• Incredible Community Celebration: a free event featuring food, music, and a drone lights and fireworks show with guests lining up at Jones Park on the water, across the street from the Aquarium. Additionally, organic viewing sites popped up across the beach, at local hotels, and restaurants. The estimated attendance last year was 10,000+.
What to expect: Drones are launched into the darkness above the beautiful Gulf, creating illuminated three-dimensional shapes and characters, such as alligators, dolphins, and turtles. This unique light show is choreographed to a soundtrack of classic and modern favorites…. did we mention fireworks? This year, the fireworks show will be bigger and better.
