Fete du Void 2022
It’s a mysterious, musical camp-out lead by Louisiana swamp funk outfit and fest headliners, The Iceman Special.
It’s a music fest in the woods – with all the fixin’s: over 50 artists/bands/DJs playing on a variety of indoor and outdoor stages: i.e. The Rumble, GNVRLY, Cameron Dupuy & The Cajun Troubadours, 504icygrl, DJ Nice Rack, The Quickening, Otto, Unicorn Fukr, Blind Texas Marlin, Anna Moss & The Nightshades, Dinny Skip, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, the aforementioned Iceman Special, and many, many more.
The genres are and aren’t what you’d expect from this neck of the literal woods: the requisite electronic, ambient, psychedelic, jazz, Cajun, psych-rock, punk, jazz, Zydeco, you get the idea. There’s also camping, a vendor fair, comedy, an “ice” rink, ambient soundbaths, workshops, and a krewe parade!
The Fete is officially Fri-Sat, but for a modest upgrade, guests may come early for the Thursday night Pre-Party.
