Mardi Gras! Galveston Kick-Off Parades
The fun begins with Mardi Gras! Galveston’s Party Gras! Procession at 5pm. The George P. Mitchell Honoree & special guests arrive at The Tremont House led by a brass band, kicking off the Friday night celebration. The procession will begin from The Press Box on 24th & Postoffice and end at The Tremont for the 2022 award Presentation.
Then the rest of the evening’s parades go like this:
• George P. Mitchell Mardi Gras Award Honoree Parade, 7pm
• The Funky Uptown Umbrella Brigade, 8:30pm
• Mardi Gras! Galveston Parade, 10pm
