Le Festival de Mardi Gras á Lafayette

Greater Southwest (GSW) is excited to announce the return of Le Festival de Mardi Gras á Lafayette at Cajun Field (the Home of the Ragin’ Cajuns!). The Festival will run for five days and feature a new carnival with the newest, most exciting rides along with a new, more convenient, and spacious layout. This year’s entertainment will feature Wayne Toups, The Chee-Weez, Krossfyre, Clay Cormier, Lil’ Nate, and many more surprise artists!

And of course, there’s Mardi Gras, with parades on each day/night, starting at the corner of Simcoe, Surry & Jefferson and winding their ways to Cajun Field! Then Mardi Gras Day, Fat Tuesday is the night of the Greater Southwest Pageant & Grand Ball at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, adjacent to the University of Lousiana campus.
