Krewe of Blues Pin & Bead Festival
The Krewe of Blues annual Pin & Bead Festival is one of the first chances and the best opportunities for Pensacola Area Mardi Gras Krewes to gather to showcase, trade, buy, and sell their new Krewe Pins and Beads for the Mardi Gras season.
There will be music throughout the park with various entertainment. Krewes will be competing for the highly sought after Krewe Wars Champion Trophy that will be presented on Fat Tuesday at the Priscus Celebration inside Seville Quarter at Phineas Phoggs. Competitions include Best Pin, Best Bead, Best Tent/Booth, Krewe Wars Games, and of course Most Diapers!
Aside from the obvious fun and camaraderie among the Pensacola Area Mardi Gras Krewes this event also has a charitable purpose. The Krewe of Blues will be collecting diapers for the Santa Rosa Kids house and the Gulf Coast Kids House. Everyone is a winner at this event, especially the kids. This event is open and free to the public.
