Key West Mermaid Festival
It’s five fin-filled family-friendly days of mervelous mermaid merrymaking! And the festival promotors are simply over the waves to raise awareness of the need to protect oceans and salty shores in such a fabulous community fest.
Immerse in mermaid meet-ups, swim encounters with the festival’s mermaid pod, ocean-themed parties, parades, a weekend mermaid- and ocean-inspired marketplace at Truman Waterfront Park, and a live music Mermaid Splash. Oh, and King Neptune kicks the whole thing off. A portion of festival proceeds benefits Reef Relief’s efforts to protect the coral reef ecosystem.
