Hispanic Heritage Month: Student Chalk Painting Contest
The New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation invites everyone to come out to City Park and revel in the art and design talent of area youth. Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration continues with the Chalk Painting Hispanic Heritage: Student Contest.
The Foundation has invited 12 local high school teams to participate in the contest. Each school team will choose a design theme based on a Hispanic country and will create their design in a designated 10 ft x 10 1/2 ft space, and present to a panel of three professional art judges. Prizes are art supplies courtesy of David Art Center.
