Frank Brown Songwriters’ Festival 2023

This is the largest gathering of national and local songwriters performing on the Florida coast: 175+ artists, 210 performances, and 31 music stages across two states!
Nationally acclaimed songwriters converge on the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast to have their songs heard by the people! The festival features seasoned and aspiring songwriters and musicians from all over the world who appear on a few dozen area stages intimate enough for fest-goers to feel the stories behind the lyrics in ways that only the song’s author can express. Venues spread from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to Perdido Key and Pensacola.
The festival is named for the late Frank Brown, night watchman at the Flora-Bama beach bar for 28 years. “Mr. Frank,” as he was known, was the last person the performers saw at closing time, and this festival is one way for his spirit to live on in the celebration of the music.
