Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival
The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival is a presentation of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. The Foundation’s beloved community radio station WWOZ New Orleans 90.7 FM will broadcast the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival live from Lafayette Square – over the air and live-streaming video at www.wwoz.org and on the Foundation’s Facebook page. This is the first in-person Blues & BBQ Festival since before the COVID pandemic.
Ruthie Foster, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, and Kenny Neal are coming in hot off of dynamite performances at the renowned Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival held just up the road in Mississippi. Little Freddie King, Charlie Musselwhite, Trudy Lynn, Mia Borders, Mr. Sipp, and Layla Musselwhite are just a few of the other talents to appear.
The festival is free, but VIP upgrades are available to posh your experience and support the cause.
