Condé Cavaliers’ Mobile Mardi Gras Parade 2023

Founded in 1977, the Condé Cavaliers open the downtown Mobile parading season. Members proudly point out that they held a ball and a parade in their first year. The organization is named after the celebrated French general, Prince de Condé, for whom Fort Condé in downtown Mobile is named. It’s a large group that likes to throw.
This year’s ball is already sold out. So make a plan to get down to the parade! One of the group’s four permanent floats, The Condé Cavalier Express, is an impressive, self-propelled, four-unit train.
