Children’s Gasparilla 2023

The afternoon Children’s Gasparilla Parade, part of Tampa’s Gasparilla celebration since 1947, is but one component of this full free day of family fun. This little-one-friendly parade – a full line-up of krewes, marching bands, dance troupes, school performance teams, community groups, and floats, floats, floats – takes place along Bayshore Boulevard from Bay to Bay Boulevard, moving north to Edison Avenue.

But again, keep in mind, it’s just one part of this kids fest day-o-fun! The day is jam-packed with other must-see events like the Bike & Pedestrian Safety Rodeo skills session with free helmet, two different Gasparilla Air Invasions –  day and night – featuring vintage air show and parachute demo, the Gasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll participant parade, and the “Piratechnic” firework finale.

That’s just the free stuff! Additional admission is available (for cost) for a brunch, a picnic, and priority reserved seating along the parade route.
