Cadien Toujours Courir de Mardi Gras de l’Anse
Make plans to join the 2023 Courir de Mardi Gras de L’anse! The run will begin at a home on Lafosse Road in Morse, LA. Per tradition, only men, age 15 or older in full, traditional costume, and who have attended at least one planning meeting are invited to run.
The general public is invited to enjoy the festivities and spectate! It begins very early in the morning with a 7am prayer, then Saddled Up/On Trailer for Roll Call at 7:25, then the run begins at 7:30am.
Then, all are invited to the Fais Do Do & Gumbo featuring The Cajun Stompers taking the stage at 4pm. Mike Dean will follow, taking the stage at 7:30pm. $5 entry fee, ages 16 and under get in FREE! $2 beer will be sold. Please bring the family! It is sure to be a good time.
