Apalachicola Mardi Gras Barkus Parade
Join the Mystic Krewe of Salty Barkers, A Mardi Gras Krewe of Dogs & Their People for this pup-tacular pre-Lenten downtown invasion of Sea Dogs for some local “pet” causes.
This year’s theme is Pirates of Oyster City. The festivities feature live entertainment, local food vendors, and a variety of arts & craft vendors. The big event, of course, it the parade of costumed dogs and their people, decorated golf carts, and boats. The King and Queen of Apalachicola’s Mardi Gras parade are always shelter animals who are ready for a forever home.
In the tradition of the Mystic Krewe of Salty Barkers, profits from the parade will be donated to help care for the animals of the Forgotten Coast of Florida.
