Port Arthur Rotary: Taste of Summer
Port Arthur’s annual Taste of Gumbo becomes the Taste of Summer in 2022! The local Rotary Club will host its first Taste of Summer. For 34 years, the Taste of Gumbo has provided scholarships to local high school students.
Post COVID shutdown, the event gets an upgrade: This year, Taste of Summer will include food vendors of all types sampling dishes and beverages, plus vendors, entertainment for kids, door prizes, a silent auction, live music by Rollin’ Bones, and a beer garden.
