The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber is putting their a-prawns and chef hats back on! After two disappointing years with no festival, the annual National Shrimp Festival returns to the white sandy beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast, with an exciting announcement about this year’s headliner.
Trent Tomlinson recently returned to the country charts as co-writer of Scott McCreary’s No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, “Damn Strait.” Now Tomlinson is set to headline the jam-packed four-day schedule of activities and free concerts.
The Shrimp Festival is a free, non-ticketed, and non-gated event, attracting anywhere from 100,000-250,000 attendees. Concerts will run throughout the four days of the festival on two stages.
The crew at the Chamber is working to make 2022 the best and most shrimportant fest yet. Click through for more details, and check our Events section, including this listing, for more details as the date gets closer.
