Safe Harbor Sportsman Rises from Hurricane Sally
ORANGE BEACH, AL – Facing in-water headwinds from Hurricane Sally in September, 2020, management of Safe Harbor Sportsman and local partners endeavored to develop an improved, world-class marina facility.
“Nearly every part of Sportsman Marina was impacted by Hurricane Sally. Our docks were destroyed, the famous Tiki Bar was severely impacted, and our operational capacity was drastically limited. But Safe Harbor faces challenges with persistence and innovation. This spirit has resulted in a brand-new Gulf Coast marina destination that will exceed anything that has ever existed here,” said Jane Kirkman, Regional Vice President, Safe Harbor Marinas.
