The Polar Express™ Train Ride

Located in the heart of historic downtown Galveston, the Galveston Railroad Museum celebrates the return of a popular family-friendly event where pajamas are encouraged!

Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride immersive experience recreates the magic of the classic story, whisking guests away for a one-hour trip to meet Santa.

The adventure comes to life when the train departs for a round-trip journey to the North Pole led by a cast of talented actors from Galveston’s ETC Theater. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the classic story. Once on board, the conductor will work through the coach and punch golden tickets before hot chocolate and a delicious cookie are served by dancing chefs.

During the trip, characters on each car lead fantastic onboard entertainment. Each guest will take home a keepsake sleigh bell and souvenir golden ticket in addition to the wonderful memories made on this magical trip. Just like the kids in the book, all guests are encouraged to wear pajamas for the ride.

Food, refreshments and adult beverages available at food court. Tickets go on sale for GRRM members August 1, and general ticket sales begin August 22. Popular dates and times are expected to fill quickly. Book soon, as departures booking through December 23 are expected to sell out.
