Sir Elton’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in Tampa

Fresh off the brilliant success of the Lockdown Sessions album and a legendary career, is it possible that this is Elton John’s last tour? So says he. And so says the name of the tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road. Reginald Kenneth Dwight, aka Sir Elton Hercules John has lived a musical journey that has not only offered the world a brilliant songwriter, piano madman, and glam boundary pusher, but a decent humanitarian (especially during the AIDS crisis) and great musical collaborator, as evidenced by his long relationship with lyricist Bernie Taupin and this latest record in partnership with generations of rock and pop icons.

There are only a few tour stops along the Gulf (the next closest to Tampa are Orlando and Miami).
