Shorty Fest at Tipitina’s
Performances by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Galactic feat. Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, Sun Ra Arkestra, and students from the Trombone Shorty Academy.
In addition to the indoor celebration, Shorty Fest also includes a free outdoor Cultural Block Party featuring performances by local brass bands, high school marching bands with Mardi Gras Indians, food trucks, family-friendly kids’ area, plus a silent auction and VIP access tent on the neutral ground.
