Red, White & Blues – Blue Angels Air Show

Hometown heroes — the Blue Angels — streak across the skies over Pensacola and Santa Rosa Island. Locals and visitors from near and far look forward to this annual summer air show.

The U.S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron is stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Pensacola Beach Air Show also features a number of civilian air feats, plus several Blue Angel practice sessions along the beach in the days leading up to the big event. The Blue Angels headline the week’s bill with other pretty fly acts: Skip Stewart, Redline, Carol Pilon & Third Strike Wingwalking, Veterans Flight, Julian MacQueen, Kevin Coleman, the Red Bull Air Force with helo pilot Aaron Fitzgerald, and Patty Wagstaff.

The week also features the Blues Beachside Bazaar vendor market, hosted by the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.
