MS SOFIA Bocce Court Unveiling

Calling all Gulf Coast Bocce Enthusiasts! Join the Mississippi Society of Italian Americans (MS SOFIA) to celebrate the unveiling of the new spotlights at the beautiful bocce courts within the Woolmarket Community Center.
Bocce ballers will teach, and folks may play bocce, enjoy refreshments, and “flip the switch” at 5:30pm to light up the two bocce courts for the first time.
Bocce traces back to 5200 BC and the Roman Empire and remains popular all over the world. If you can roll a little ball down a smooth court, you can play bocce!
MS SOFIA will be launching a Coastwide bocce league with matches on the weekends and weeknights for everyone’s convenience. Come and learn more.
