Juneteenth and Beyond is a Black-owned and -operated guided sightseeing and tourism company. This crew is amazingly passionate, professional, and knowledgeable about Galveston’s African-American culturally rich sites. It was founded by Dr. Araminta Coleman Sorrell, a native of Washington, D.C. who loves Galveston and its glorious history, especially its Black history.
Juneteenth and Beyond is Galveston’s very first African-American guided history tour franchise. These guided tours offer pleasant and relaxing ways to experience this amazing heritage.
