Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville
Key West’s Waterfront Playhouse on Mallory Square opens its 84th season with Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville. A madcap love story, erupting volcano, tap dancing zombies, and Buffett classics like “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Margaritaville,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” and “Son of a Son of a Sailor” will fill the air on Mallory Square through mid-November.
Jordan Thomas Burnett and Jillian Todd will headline. Allyson Dodson McCormick, Olivia White, Ray West, Ervin Tumm, Mathias Maloff, Sarah McKinney, Barbara Mundy, John Swann and Andie Rose Roberts round out the cast. Some guy named Jimmy wrote the music…
And yes, the show features a margarita bar onstage during intermission.
