Listen along as Lafayette Public Radio station KRVS commemorates and jubilates six decades of reflecting the multi-cultured spectrum of the region. It’s a soundtrack to the life of Cajun Country, of Louisiana, and of the Gulf Coast. And it’s what we are loving right now!  – Editor

The oral history series ‘60 Years of Radio Acadie’ highlights the people, places, and stories that built the station the region knows and loves, KRVS 88.7 FM. The beloved station is celebrating 60 years all year long on air. This podcast is one of a few ways.

Hear stories from KRVS’ past told by musicians, staff, program hosts, and listeners. It’s a real hoot. The first episodes are up, and the series will feature 24 when complete.
